Last week, my podcast co-host Nikki Glaser and I were finally able to announce something we’d known for a few weeks: that MTV has picked up our pilot and later this year, we’ll begin working on a late night comedy show together, as hosts, writers, executive producers, and most importantly, besties. I. Cannot. Contain. Myself. I am excited, bewildered, overwhelmed, immensely proud of the work we’ve done thus far, and continually wondering if anything is real at all. Lots of philosophical crises happenin’ in the old Schaefer brain. Anyway, “The Nikki & Sara Show” will be a combo of jokes, sketches, interviews, and more, surrounding pop culture and set in the MTV studios at Times Square. I’ll post updates here and on my Twitter. In the meantime, catch me on tour or in New York sometime! I update my show calendar regularly. (p.s. that pic is from Perez Hilton’s post about the show. I never thought I’d get his signature white handwriting next to my face. HAHAHA!)
